Hi, I'm Melissa Alves — a South African–based makeup artist specialising in exclusive bridal artistry.
My journey with makeup began at a young age, assisting my aunt on wedding days, where I fell in love with the emotion and quiet magic of the bridal experience. What started as curiosity evolved into a 15+ year career shaped by hands-on experience — from working at MAC to being on set for photoshoots and television.
While these experiences refined my technique, what truly defines my work is how I make my clients feel. I create a calm, intentional space where you feel understood, confident, and completely at ease.
